I went to Farmer Ted’s today and saw Paul from Horus. He was kind enough to talk to me about the gorgeous birds before the display. He was lovely and no question was too much for him.
The owls that he displayed were gorgeous and their personalities were very entertaining.

Booked Horus birds of prey for my elderly mums birthday and had the most amazing hour learning about the birds. We also had the chance to hold the birds and be involved in some flying. I can not recommend this experience enough it was a really informative and excellent hour which my mum will always remember.

I just wanted to thank you for your visit to the care home on Wednesday, due to work commitments i missed the event but I just wanted to say it was lovely to see the photo’s of my mum who suffers from Alzheimers stroking the owl’s, its been a long time since i have seen my mum so relaxed and smiling she is usually a very anxious lady but the carers said she was calm and even after you had left she was less anxious and all the residents had a great time.

It’s hard to find the words to say how much we all enjoyed the party on Sunday. But it was so much more than that. Seriously, you made a little girl’s dreams come true.
It surpassed all my expectations and was a simply wonderful day. I loved the fact that all the children were involved; they got to stroke the owls and hold them on a glove and have their photo taken with them whilst you explained what they like to eat, their behaviour etc. It was fab.
You made it so interesting and fun and it was amazing to see all the children’s reactions. My daughter is a very quiet and reserved child so to see her so animated was wonderful. Being so close to these amazing birds in our home was something I’ll never forget. I felt choked all day about just how happy the kids were. I think it is up there in my favourite ever moments when all the children gasped (as one) when little Flint came out. Wonderful memories.

I would just like to reiterate our thanks for the fabulous night you provided for the Brownies and Guides last night. They all enjoyed it. I’m sure a lot of the girls learned a lot too. They loved handling the owls as I did myself.
